Last week our partner Leonardo participated in the UMST (Unmanned Maritime System Technology)  virtual conference , to present AWHero operations in the frame of theOCEAN2020  First Sea Demonstration. Unmanned Maritime Systems Technology is a forum for the discussion of current and future projects and programmes,  delivering unmanned and autonomous technology, bringing  together key planners and decision makers from across the NATO-aligned world and providing coverage of unmanned systems across the full maritime domain, including undersea, surface, and aerial environments.

In particular, the presentation was focused on the role of the AWHeroRotary UAS  to the enhancement of persistent maritime wide area surveillance during the first sea demonstration within the OCEAN2020 Project.
