For the first time in EURONAVAL, the opening conference was organized on Monday 22nd October, the day before the exhibition, at the Maison de la Chimie in Paris. With an impressive audience of about 1000 registered participants, the Euronaval conference focussed on important current and prospective issues in the naval defence sector.
Mr Olivier REICHERT, SAFRAN; gave a presentation of the OCEAN2020 project underlining its relevance as the first EU-funded Defense project and the largest one of the EU Preparatory Action on Defense Research (PADR).
