Organised by EDA in cooperation with the OCEAN2020 consortium, on the 27th October the Final Conference took place. The main objective of this event was to present the challenge and main achievements of the largest project in PADR, providing at the same time an outlook for the future of EU collaboration. After a welcome address Jean-François Ripoche, EDA Director for Research, Technology and Innovation and conference chair, presented the conference agenda, also expressing EDA view on the project, proud to be involved in the implementation of a project characterized by technological complexity , inclusiveness, cooperation environment.

On the 25 and 26 of October , the Final Review of OCEAN2020 took place at EDA premises in Bruxelles. At the presence of EDA and EC representatives , the consortium presented a summary of the activities carried out during the whole project that lasted about 3 years and a half.

During the last Friday the Ocean2020 General Assembly took place. This was the last official OCEAN2020 General Assembly organised before the closing of the project.

OCEAN2020 – Second sea demonstration: Results review at the headquarters of OBR CTM S.A. Gdynia 7-8 October

Project meetings of partners participating in the international OCEAN 2020 project are underway. From 07/10/2021 until 08/10/2021 at OBR CTM S.A. premises the meetings focused on the analysis of the main achievements of current tasks with particular emphasis on the results and lessons learned from the second sea demonstration held in the Baltic Sea during the last week of August .

"OCEAN2020" project at the MSPO Fair in Kielce - 8 September 2021

On September 8, 2021, during the second day of the International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO), a seminar summarizing the European project "OCEAN2020" was held. It was mainly focused on the second sea demonstration which saw a wide range of unmanned systems in the Baltic Sea, and was completed in August 2021. Its aim was to ensure the possibility of integration and cooperation of European countries in conducting joint military operations. This demonstration was the second important milestone of this international project.
